David Chitsazan serves as Director of Taxation and Accounting, where he is responsible for managing Crestone Air Partners’ global tax functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency in a constantly evolving tax world. This includes direct and indirect tax compliance, tax structuring, audit response, and tax documentation for investors and lessees.

Prior to joining Crestone, David has 10+ years of experience in the aircraft leasing world with BBAM (Babcock & Brown Aircraft Management), where he managed multi-national partnership and corporate income tax duties, working both in house and in unison with tax advisors PWC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and various local tax offices. Before BBAM, David spent five years in public accounting at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, where he specialized primarily on taxes for real estate partnerships and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

David holds two degrees from the University of Oregon, a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Economics. In his free time, he enjoys giving back to the community as the Budget Chair of Clackamas Community College, as well as cheering on his favorite team, the Rip City Remix, with his family.
